The ancient craft of Coppicing 2024

We’ve just completed the 5th full day on our Environment Agency funded project to improve the habitat at Durbridge Mill. Thanks to our fabulous tree surgeon Luke ably supported by our wonderful volunteers we’ve felled or coppiced around 20 of the diseased and/or dead alders precariously lining the banks of the Leadon at Durbridge.
